However, for those who do not know YYH and would still like to know and don't want to believe me XD: For me, it's enough to know it's shounen-action-high school-supernatural before watching and just go with the flow.
#YU YU HAKUSHO OPENING FOURTH GIRL SERIES#
I don't really feel like putting the synopsis here because it summarizes the series and spoils a lot of what happens in the first few episodes. Genres: action, supernatural, comedy, drama, romance XD (sorry pls don't make HxH hiatus x hiatus forever XD)Īnd so I thought it would be great to watch two fairly old, well-acclaimed shounen, action animes side by side. I checked the year it was released: 1992.ġ992? Really? Is it that old? That's awesome! Wow, Yoshihiro-san is ojiisan. XD I don't really remember the story anymore I was just a little girl back then anyway who crushed on Kurama. And I enjoyed it, except I had a Toguro phobia. I watched it with my cousins when I was still in kindergarten. (Was that just alchemy? XD)Īlready a classic, a great master in the manga-anime media, Yū Yū Hakusho was his first masterpiece, before HxH. Add imagination to that knowledge and we get the gem of HxH. I reckon this guy has a broad range of interests, very knowledgeable. I might be going over myself, but, for me, he's like the Tolkien of anime. The enjoyment is over the roof! It titillates your mind: the world of HxH. HxH is so rich and has great story and characters. He's also in my pretty glitter jar with Isayama. And turned to the Togashi Yoshihiro who had been dancing around in my head for days. My eyes gasping for light, disappointed by the art and animation quality, I don't blame my nonsuspension of disbelief in the anime though, for it's what's in the manga. The guy really just suddenly got on top of the bad guy and totally apprended the latter. And as for the manga action scenes with mini plot holes, they weren't cleared in the anime. That's good to know, and I like the way they showed them in the anime. (For example, suddenly this guy's on top of the bad guy and totally apprehending the latter.)Īnd anyway, wow, those vibrations were big! I thought they were only little tingles in the manga. In the manga, there are a few fights that have mini plot holes. Was it flesh? Alien-looking? Metal? Metal-fleshy-alieny? What's the color?Īnd I also was curious about the action scenes. And so I was curious how these ARMS looked like. I had been only reading the manga and was already pretty hooked. And the ARMS manga I'm genuinely enjoying right now is from Isayama (a most influential manga for him and SnK). Yowamushi Pedal was from Ōgoe Yuuki (one of his stage plays, that is.) One is a satire, one is a parody.Īnd it seems getting 'quasi-recommendations' from my list of 'Fascinating People' yields desirable results: I enjoy both, but they're both hilarious, non-serious comedy animes, too. With One Punch Man and Shingeki! Kyojin Chuugakkou left in my currently watching list, both still ongoing, with new episodes only on Sundays, I felt my list was not so filling. It's not goodbye to the anime, for now it's in my (always) rewatching list. (Should Isayama break my heart, I know I have this warm place to go to.) (You bet I'm really grateful I didn't die in those few days. I finished Yowamushi Pedal two days ago after putting off the last two episodes for a few days to prepare myself for the ending feels, for I wanted no less than a perfect moment to watch the ending of this amazing anime. The English dub can be seen in its entirety on various anime streaming services, including Funimation, Crunchyroll and Hulu.Īre you excited to see more Yu Yu Hakusho?
